Linnea + Tim | A Sunset View from Salty’s On Alki | Seattle Wedding Photographer

Sometimes in the midst of real life, we witness a fairytale…

When the chance arises, I love getting to go out with other photographers and shoot alongside them at gorgeous weddings. There’s just something about being able to assist in ways I don’t normally get to when I’m trying to run the show. It makes way for creativity to flow and gives me the joy of getting to know another creative brain in the process.

I’ve been lucky enough to shoot with Lessie Blue Photography on multiple occasions. Not only is she a bomb photographer, but she’s a wonderful friend as well. On this particular trip we hustled ourselves up to Seattle for a quick lunch, then over to the Motif Hotel where we met up with the beautiful Linnea.

This is one of those weddings I’ll never forget, and I’ll forever be thankful for the years I spent living near San Francisco. The skills I learned getting from one place to another, and how to find what you need at Nordstroms, definitely came in handy that day as I headed out for Linnea’s favorite perfume and some fashion tape that hadn’t gotten put in Linnea’s bag.

Soon everyone was ready to go, and we headed out to Salty’s on Alki for their beautiful wedding ceremony (including several GOT references!) and a party right there on the water. Between the gorgeous couple, and the sunset reflecting off the city scape, the night was magical.

I hope to shoot alongside Lessie again very soon. She always makes the day go by quickly with her wit and wonderful sense of humor.
